All good things have to come to an end.
We have enjoyed our stay in the Philippines very much. Can’t ask for more. We enjoyed the beautiful places we have visited and the company of friends and new friends we have made during our stay. Nina has learned more about the Philippines than Singapore. She was only 18 months when we first touched down in Manila. She is now 3 years and 8 months. Two birthday celebrations and few school terms.
We will certainly miss this place and our friends here. Nina always says that she doesn’t want to go back to Singapore. “Manila only”, she said. We also have very mixed feeling about leaving Manila.
But, all good things have to come to an end. My assignment is finishing in 2 weeks and we are going to leave this country, back to Singapore.
