Nina’s wishes

During breakfast at the Fraser 31st floor earlier this morning (I didn’t join, I was still sleeping as I just got home at 4am after packing up my stuffs in the office), Nina played with her fireball and the conversation with her mommy went like this:

Nina: “Mommy, let’s make a wish”
(She knocked her fireball against the table until the light inside was on. She then closed her eyes for a short moment)
Nina: “OK, Mommy … what do you wish?”
Mommy: “Oh, it’s a secret. What do you wish?”
Nina: “I wish Nina will like Singapore”
(Her mom was stunned)
Nina: “Let’s make a wish again”
(She knocked the fireball against the table again)
Nina: “What do you wish?”
Mommy: “You first”
Nina: “No, you first. It’s your turn now”
Mommy: “I wish Nina will be happy in Singapore”
Nina: “I am happy. I have flowers in my room”
(She was referring to her flower-shape lamps which we installed on the wall in her room in Singapore)
