“Mommy, Nina is not housekeeping”

At the Bolliwood restaurant:
We attended a one month celebration of my friend’s baby at the Bolliwood restaurant at Greenbelt 3, Makati. And Nina ate fresh pineapple fruit for the first time. When she saw her mommy brought a plate of pineapple, she told her mommy, “thank you .. thank you … thank you”.
At home:
“You still have a tattoo”, Nina said to me as soon as she saw that the “tattoo” of goofy was still on my right tummy. She put that on for me last weekend.
And after seeing that I was done with my shower, we had this conversation:
Nina: “Daddy, do you want to play bowling with me?”
Me: “Yes”
Nina: “Oh, great … I use the green bowling, you use the blue bowling”
She learned how to say “oh great” from the Blue Clue movie.
Nina told me when I got home today, “Daddy, I have a haircut”. And then she said, “Nina cut Nina’s poni”. Poni is Indonesian word for fringes.
Her mom brought her to Rustan today at Glorietta to have her hair cut. She didn’t cry.
I asked where she had her hair cut, and she said “in the salon”.
Nina asked me to draw with her just now …”Daddy, do you want to draw?” And then she went on to say, “Daddy, it’s time to draw”.
She went on drawing herself and asked for another paper. She said “mommy, can I use another paper, please?”
Nina asked me to play farm last night.
Nina: “Daddy, Nina wanna play farm”
And then she sang twinkle-twinkle little star, but she replaced all the words with only one word “please”.
Nina: “Please, please, please, please, please, please, please … please, please, please, please, please, please, please”
And then she asked me to say “Yes” by singing the same song too: “Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes … yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes”
I just finished shower and walked out of the bedroom. Nina heard me walking out and started walking to the room. I decided to play and hid myself in the second bedroom. She went to our bedroom and kept calling “Daddy” and finally went out again to the living room to look for me.
Nina: “Daddy?”
Mommy: “Yah?” (her mommy was in the kitchen and thought Nina was calling her)
Nina: “Aku lagi calling Daddy”
Nina: “Mana Daddy?”
Mommy: “Daddy lagi mandi”
Nina turned around and finally saw me behind her and said :
Nina: “Daddy udah mandi”
And as expected, she said
Nina: “Nina wants to play farm”
referring to our usual play on the bed with her truck and the animal toys she has like the sheep, pig, elephant, kangaroo, monkey, etc .. as if she is in the farm.
Nina told me, “Daddy, you ride the shuttle bus. Wait for the driver.” She was referring to herself as the shuttle bus driver.
Nina asked for a banana and I gave her one and the conversation:
Daddy: “Can Daddy peel the banana for you?”.
Nina: “No, I peel”
Nina: “I can peel the banana”
Nina said these sentences today. All written in her original way of saying them including the grammatical error and mixing Indonesian and English words (bubur is Indonesian, meaning porridge).
“Daddy, you already finish take a bath?”"Daddy, You are smell so good.”
“Daddy, I want to eat bubur and chicken nugget.”
“Daddy, I have to eat first. Later I will feel better.”
Nina likes salak (Indonesian’s snake fruit). Something she got from me I think as I like salak very much.I peeled for her just now and gave her one first while I continued to peel the rest. Then I gave her another one and she said:
“No. One is enough”
