Another 'pee kaa boo ! '

Nina just woke up and walked to the window, sit there and then played with the curtain. She played 'pee kaa boo' with us while I was taking her photos. Here was the sequence:

Both of them just woke up and went over to the second room where I slept (I have to temporarily shifted to our second room, as Nina has been sleeping on our bed in the master bedroom lately).

Whenever she's by the window, Nina will look up and look for the moon. She also can say 'moon' now.

New haircut again

Nina has a new haircut again. Her mommy cut her fringes yesterday, since they were too long and started covering her eyes.

Nina doesn't like the porridge anymore

Nina has had problem eating in the past two weeks. She doesn't like the porridge we usually give her anymore. We tried to give other stuffs, like noodle, which she took but not much. Today, I bought sponge cake from Breadtalk. But, she didn't seem to like it either. Only few bites and that's it.

Happy Mother's Day !

No, she wasn't grumpy or anything ... she just showed her mommy what she's able to do now. Happy mother's day, mommy.

Nina and the hot weather

Nina tends to sweat easily. She can't stand hot weather. At home, once the aircon is switched off, she will start to sweat soon.

Elmo (Nina) becomes a tree

There was a scene from the Elmo's World DVD's 'Flowers, Bananas and More', when Elmo pretended to be a tree by raising both his arms. Nina remembered that and did the same thing.

I am feeling happy

PS: We watched American Idol last night and when Nina heard Randy Jackson said "Yo!", she repeated and said "Yo!" too. :-)

One Morning .. Just Woke Up

Nina can finally walk on her own !!

Hurray !!!
Nina can finally walk on her own confidently now. No support from us anymore. She surprised us yesterday afternoon, May 4th 2006, when she suddenly walked for few meters away from where her mom was standing to the center of our living room without any support. She continued doing this for the rest of the day. She was walking around the house happily, from living room to our bedroom, to my study room, back to the living room and back to the rooms again. Her hands were still up in the air, used as a 'balancing stick' when she walked.

Rannie fainted as she knew that another new episode has begun, which would be more tiring for her, as Nina will now just keep walking and walking, just like the Johnnie Walker ad. :-)

Afternoon Walk

Whenever she gets a chance, Nina likes to walk now. So, we brought her down to the poolside and the garden yesterday afternoon for a walk. She still needs to hold our hands for stability, but she's getting there.
