Nina likes drawing

Nina likes drawing and reading these days and she likes doing them together with either myself or her mommy or both of us. When I took these pictures yesterday, she wouldn't let me take her pictures because she wanted me to draw together with her. She would say "put down the camera here" and "daddy comes here". I had to obey :) .. and then quickly moved back to grab my camera and took the pictures.

This was the best she would do for me that day. I asked her to do 'Nina cantik', but still no smile.

Pundung

Pundung is a Sundanese language for upset. That's what happened to Nina last week when she was left at home with her daddy. :)
Her mommy went out without her and she was so upset that she didn't want to smile when I took her photo despite all my effort.

Happy Birthday Nina !

Nina is 2. We celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, 10 January 2007 in Manila by throwing a small party for her. Some people say, she looks more like a 4 years old than a 2 years old. :)

We have been blessed, Nina has been healthy and growing well so far. She is 13kg now and very talkative. She can even say a six word sentence like "thank you so much auntie xxx" ... "thank you so much uncle yyy". And she can say it very clearly.

BTW .. the theme for her goodies bag was Barney. Her mommy bought Barney's stuffs for the goodies bag for the children.

En Route to Manila

Christmas and New Year's vacation is over. Nina is en route from Singapore to Manila today on SQ72. Will be posting new photos from Manila.

BTW ... Nina can now walk in her slippers comfortably. She did that starting yesterday walking around our apartment. These are the slippers she got from her Mamu sometime ago.

Swimsuit 2007 Calendar

Nina started the new year by swimming at our Savanah's condo swimming pool and posed for me ala Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Calendar models. OK .. not quite, but she tried.
