Voice of Nina

A little different today. We are posting the voice of Nina. Here are the words that Nina has been able to say and those that we have managed to record them. More to follow later. She has not been able to pronounce most of words well, but she's getting there. :-)

• Nina says (letter) 'A'
• Nina says (letter) 'B'
• Nina says (letter) 'S'
• Nina says 'ABC'
  (She will say this when she sees letters on a magazine page, especially when she sees the letter 'C'. But, she also says this when she sees numbers on a magazine page, which is obviously wrong, .. but we'll fix this :-) )
• Nina says 'Apple'
• Nina says 'Baby'
• Nina says 'Ball'
• Nina says 'Bear'
• Nina says 'Bobo'
  (She says this when she is pretending to sleep or when playing with her bear, asking the bear to sleep)
• Nina says 'Buka'
  (She says this when she is asking to open the fridge, her milk can, or anything which is closed / covered)
• Nina says 'Car'
• Nina says 'Cici'
  (She says this when she sees a girl older than her or a picture of an older girl)
• Nina says 'Daddy'
• Nina says 'Ear'
• Nina says 'Elmo'
  (She says this when she sees a picture of Elmo, her Elmo soft toy, or when watching Elmo show on TV)
• Nina says 'Eye'
• Nina says 'Flower'
  (One of the first words she learned to say. She will say this when she sees flowers or picture of flowers)
• Nina says 'Gajah' (Elephant)
• Nina says 'Giraffe'
• Nina says 'Jakarta'
  (This is when we ask her, 'Where is Heidi?', 'Where is Ah-Mah?' and 'Where is Mamu?')
• Nina says 'Jatuh'
  (She will say this when she drops something)
• Nina says 'Lampu' (Lamp)
• Nina says 'Mimi'
  (She says this when she is asking for milk)
• Nina says 'Moo'
  (She says this when she sees a picture of Cow)
• Nina says 'Mouth'
• Nina says 'Nose'
• Nina says 'Pencil'
  (She says this when sees a picture of Pencil, especially the one on our bedsheet)
• Nina says 'Star'
  (She says this when she sees a picture of Star, or anything which has the shape of a star)
• Nina says 'Turtle'
• Nina says (number) 'Two'
• Nina says (color) 'Yellow'
  (She says this when she sees yellow color)
